THE CHALLENGE
We’ve worked with a growing business that had real ambition but hadn't yet built the structure or workforce strategy to support it. As the business expanded, hiring had become reactive - driven by immediate need rather than any longer-term plan. Roles weren't clearly defined, accountability was blurred, and there was no clear picture of how the organisation needed to evolve to hit its goals. Without that foundation, scaling efficiently was going to be difficult.
WHAT WE DID
We came in as a strategic HR partner to help build that foundation. That started with designing a clear operational structure capable of growing with the business - mapping out what the organisation needed to look like over the next two to three years, and building a workforce plan to match. This included identifying when and where new hires would be needed, what those roles should look like, and how they connected to the broader structure. Alongside this, we put succession plans in place for key roles, reducing the business's reliance on external recruitment and building a pipeline of internal talent.
THE RESULT
Leadership came away with significantly better visibility and control over their people strategy. Rather than responding to problems as they emerged, they were able to plan ahead and make more informed, confident decisions about the business. As growth continued, they were able to scale more efficiently - bringing through internal talent, managing headcount more deliberately, and avoiding the cost and disruption of unnecessary hiring.
